Too Tall and Carramajano

After school got out at the end of June I headed to my friend's house in Madrid and we drove to Portugal. We spent about a week in Meco playing frisbee, camping, lots of caipirinhias, and of course delicious sea food. And in Portugal the bread is amazing! This was a nice break from Spanish bread. (Spain is wonderful, but not well known for it's bread or beer). I played with a really fun team, called Too Tall. How appropriate seeing as I'm 6 feet tall, but was one of the shortest members of the team. And we ending up winning the tournament.

Celebratory Dinner

Happily enjoying a beer after a game, but I look a little crazy. As everyone knows I have trouble making normal faces in and out of pictures.

I had a few days off in Madrid to relax and then headed to Montemayor de Pililla for another frisbee hat tournament. The tournament was called Tierra de Pinares, and was made up mainly of people from Spain. It was a in a small town outside of Valladolid and the whole thing just had a magical feel to it. Great people, frisbee, food, and fresh air. A nice break from steamy, stuffy Madrid.
