For 3 weeks in July I headed south to El Puerto de Santa Maria to be a nanny for three Spanish children. They live in Madrid most of the year and I babysat them several afternoons a week during the school year. For 3 weeks it was the grandma, mom, 3 kids, and me.
I feel really lucky to have lived in this beautiful town with them for this time, but it was really tough. Many of you are parents, so you already know how tough it is, but I had no idea how difficult it was to be with kids all day. I'm used to babysitting, but this was a new challenge. In the end a great experience!

An art project gone messy! Instead of painting the paper they decided to paint their hands. Too bad grandma has a white couch...
