As many people know my two favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Passover. Because I grew up in a Catholic-Jewish household our religion was really food, so during my favorite holidays we have always celebrated our favorite thing. Missing things like Christmas and Easter were difficult, but when I realized I would go a year without having any matzah ball soup I did not know what to do.
So I decided to have my own seder. It started small, but in the end, I had 27 guests (plus Elijah of course). I found two Jewish delis in Madrid, even though the Jewish population here is pretty much non-existent. I made my own bilingual Hagaddah and about 75 matzah balls. Here are some photos from my seder. Keep in mind I'm hardly Jewish, so it was very relaxed and maybe a bit confused. On top of that I attempted to do most of it in Spanish. If anyone is interested in seeing my Hagaddah it's also posted on my blog.
