December started off with a long weekend. I went to Punta Umbria for a beach frisbee tournament. It was not ideal beach weather, but still better than the weather would have been in Chicago!
Our team was called "Los Osos Amorosos" or The Care Bears
For the remainder of the weekend I went to visit my friend Shana in a small town just north of Cordoba. I know Shana from Cordoba, where we studied abroad and lived in the same house. I was only supposed to stay with her for a day, but because of holiday bus schedules and flooded highways I got a whole extra day with her! In the end we took 3-4 trips to the bus station, this photo of her is us going out to breakfast after our first failed attempt of sending me back to Madrid.
No day in Spain is complete without seeing some misuse of the English language, but this store sign has made the top of my list.
