Christmas Time

In Spain it is really typical to set up a Nativity Scene to celebrate the Christmas holidays. People have them in their homes, shops, and there was a massive one in the school I work at. It's safe to say that I'm obsessed with them. Here are some of the gems that I got to see on a daily basis.

The first five photos are the nativity scene that was set up at my public school. When I asked if it was okay to have religious scenes in a public school one of the teachers said, well we took down the crosses a long time ago! This nativity scene was really impressive, it covered 2-3 dining room tables and had a running river/waterfall.

This is one of my favorites. A local deli had a nativity scene and had 5 wrapped ham legs hanging above it.
This is a photo of some of the figurines they sell at the market in Plaza Mayor, so that people can make nativity scenes in their own homes.
