Paris/Italy

From Santander I headed to Paris, where a good friend of mine from Evanston is living. It is always nice to see friends and realize it doesn't matter if you haven't talked in a year or two, you can always start back where you left off.

I dragged Kevin and his friend along to do tourist stuff. We went on a guided tour, ate ice cream, crepes, and went to The Eiffel Tower.

UGH, Abercrombie and Fitch set up a new storefront.

The line to get into Abercrombie, I can only imagine what is inside. Terrifying.

THEN from Paris off to CINQUE TERRE, where all American tourists go. I was definitely not alone, but it was beautiful. I'd search for photos elsewhere if I were you, or make the trip yourself. My photos don't do it justice. From far away the villages were really beautiful, but once you get inside of them they are kind of tourist deathtraps. That's okay, I'm a tourist...

From 5 Terre, off to VENICE. The city speaks for itself. While it may smell bad on hot humid days, it's a pretty magical place. Again, tourist death trap. 60,000 residents live there and 20 million tourists pass through every year. Soon it will turn into Euro History Disney or something.
